Le Col d'Izoard, a true giant of le Tour de France. Soaring 2360 meters above Briancon, the road rises, rises rises through some of the most stunning landscape in all France.

As it nears the summit the road passes through the legendary Casse Déserte, a moonscape of rocks and scree with striking rock pillars unique to the Col.
